Apple Adds Menopause Tracking to iPhone Health App
Cupertino, California, USATue Jun 09 2026
Apple has updated its health software so that people who are going through menopause can use the same app they already have on their phone.
The new version can spot changes in a person’s cycle that may signal the start of menopause, sometimes up to ten years early.
When it notices these changes, the app will send a friendly reminder.
Users can now type in symptoms like hot flashes or mood swings right inside the health app.
They also get links to helpful articles that explain what’s happening and give tips on coping.
Fitness programs have been added for those in this life stage, giving workouts that match their needs.
The update also speeds up how quickly data appears in the app and gives it a fresh look.
This is part of a larger push to make cycle tracking more detailed.
Apple first rolled out the feature with iPhones and Apple Watches in 2019, then added new tools such as temperature tracking with the Series 8 watch.
