Kids’ Health Gets a Swing

The golf course in Rochester Hills is more than a green field. It’s a place where famous people and local leaders swing for a good cause. The Feldman Automotive Children’s Miracle Celebrity Invitational started six years ago. It grew from a small idea into one of the biggest charity golf events in Southeast Michigan. Mark Wahlberg and Jay Feldman began the event after talking about ways to help Corewell Health and Children’s Miracle Network post‑COVID. They wanted to give back to the community. Every year, money raised goes straight into Corewell Health programs. These programs supply life‑saving care, special equipment, and support for children who are sick and their families. The Wahlberg family says the event honors Mark’s mom. She never cared about fame or money, only how to help others.
