A video that went viral online shows Hayek trying to get Kidman to pose for different cameras after a group photo with Katy Perry. Kidman, however, wasn’t having it. She gently pushed Hayek’s arm away and focused on Perry instead. Their exchange left Hayek’s face tense and fans wondering what exactly happened.

The incident sparked a flurry of speculations on social media. Some thought Kidman seemed “out of it” and that Hayek was trying to help. Others believed Kidman was bothered by Hayek’s attempt to move her. But one thing is clear: Kidman didn’t tell Hayek “don’t touch me.”

After the tense exchange, Kidman and Hayek briefly chatted. Hayek can be heard asking Kidman for advice, to which Kidman replied, “You don’t need it.” Yet, Hayek insisted, “I do.”

Despite the awkwardness, Hayek posted a picture with Kidman on Instagram the next day, captioning it, “Finally last night the grand finale of my Paris Fashion Week 2025…👏 Balenciaga and Demna for a terrific show.”

This incident comes at a difficult time for Kidman, who had just lost her mom. She left the Venice Film Festival early in September due to her mother’s death. Her family has asked for privacy during this time.
