Airlines are pulling out of Venezuela, one after another. Gol, Avianca, and TAP Air Portugal all stopped their flights from Caracas. This happened right after the U. S. warned about flying over the country. The U. S. said the situation was getting dangerous, with more military action and risks for planes.

The Colombian aviation authority said flying near Maiquetia was risky. They mentioned security problems and more military activity. TAP Air Portugal agreed, saying the U. S. warned that flying in Venezuela wasn't safe. They canceled flights for Saturday and next Tuesday.

Spain's Iberia also stopped flights to Caracas starting Monday. They said they would check the situation before flying again. Copa Airlines and Wingo kept their flights running, though. The U. S. FAA said the security situation in Venezuela was getting worse. They warned about risks for planes at any height.

There's been a lot of military buildup in the area. The U. S. has sent big ships and fighter jets. Latam Airlines also canceled a flight to Bogota. It's clear that airlines are taking these warnings seriously. They're putting safety first, even if it means canceling flights.
