Opening your favorite baby powder bottle, only to find out it might contain asbestos, a nasty mineral linked to cancer. That's the scary situation Dynarex Corporation, a medical supply and personal care product seller, is facing. They've expanded their recall of baby powder bottles to almost 42, 000 after the FDA discovered asbestos in some products. This is a big deal because asbestos can cause serious health issues like cancer and lung diseases if inhaled. The recall includes bottles sent to distributors from January 18 onwards in 35 states, including New York and New Jersey, and even sold on Amazon. Affected bottle batch numbers are from B 048 to B 060. If you have one, stop using it and return it for a refund. It's not just Dynarex; other companies like Johnson & Johnson have also faced lawsuits for similar issues. The FDA is urging customers to be cautious and check their products carefully.
