A Buckeye's Change of Heart: Kirk Herbstreit on Will Howard

Former Ohio State quarterback Kirk Herbstreit has had a change of heart about Buckeyes QB Will Howard. Initially, he wasn't sure how Howard would fit into Chip Kelly's offense. But after watching him play this season, Herbstreit admits he was wrong. Will Howard, a 3-star QB from the 2020 class, played his first four seasons at Kansas State. He transferred to Ohio State in January and was named the starting QB in August. So far, he's led the Buckeyes to a 9-1 record and the No. 2 spot in the AP Poll. Herbstreit now praises Howard's leadership and playmaking abilities. He believes Howard is the right guy to lead Ohio State to a National Championship. The Buckeyes' road to the Big Ten Championship starts with a game against undefeated Indiana. The Hoosiers have only beaten Ohio State 12 times out of 97 games. But they're hoping to change that this Saturday. A win would knock the Buckeyes out of the Big Ten title and playoff picture. It's a big game for both teams.
