A Chinese Rocket's 75km Leap: Testing Future Space Tech

China took a big leap recently with a rocket test. This rocket, known as Longxing-2, aimed to reach high altitude and then land back safely. No surprises there, but what's interesting is that China hasn't shared the result yet. It's been over a day since the test, and we're still waiting for news.
Longxing-2 is like a practice run for the Long March 12A rocket, which China is designing to fly, land, and fly again. This test was to check if the rocket can handle the tough conditions when it comes back to Earth.
The test happened late at night in the Shandong province, near Haiyang. The rocket took off slowly, rose high, and then fell back to Earth. No clear signs of trouble were seen in videos taken by people nearby. But China hasn't said how the test ended.
China is working on many such space projects. They want to reduce launch costs and have more missions in space. This could help with big plans like building many satellites or even going back to the moon.
China had 68 rocket launches last year, all using rockets that are used once and then thrown away. They hoped for 100 launches this year, including ones by commercial companies. This test is a step towards that goal.
The rocket uses engines powered by methane and liquid oxygen, made by a company called Jiuzhou Yunjian. China wants to use this technology for its super heavy-lift rocket, the Long March 9.
China is developing lots of reusable rockets. This one, Long March 12A, is just one of many. They're also working on ports to launch these rockets from.
