Amos Ramon Gary, known affectionately as Junior, was tragically killed while working as a security guard at Willie’s Bar and Grill. His family is left grappling with grief and frustration as they seek justice for their beloved brother and son.

The family's pain is palpable. Avis Renee Toomer, Junior's sister, shared her shock and disbelief at the senseless violence that took her brother's life.
"How could something like this happen while you're at work?" she questioned, echoing the sentiments of many who struggle to comprehend such tragedies.
The news of Junior's death came in a heartbreaking 1:55 a.m. call from their father, shattering their world.
A Night of Tragedy
Three other lives were also lost that night: Kashawn Glaze, Sherrod Smalls, and A’shan’tek Milledge. The community's silence in the wake of this tragedy is deafening. Gary's siblings, who grew up in a community where everyone looks out for one another, are pleading for information.
"We need action," Toomer emphasized. "Show us that you truly love us by coming up and saying what actually happened."

The lack of witnesses coming forward is particularly disheartening. Johnny Williams, Junior's brother, expressed his disappointment, noting the stark contrast between the prevalence of cell phones and the absence of any information.
"It's real disappointing. I'm like I'm kind of losing faith in the human race," he admitted.
The family's frustration is compounded by the owner of Willie’s Bar and Grill, Willie Turral, who has yet to reach out to them directly.
"If Willie never asked them to be there, my brother would never been there," Williams pointed out, highlighting the personal connection that makes this tragedy even more painful.

The family is planning a public viewing and a celebration of life for Junior, hoping that answers will emerge before they lay him to rest. Toomer's words resonate with a sense of urgency and justice.
"We’re only asking for people to come up and say what they saw. Help us find who did it because you’re walking amongst murderers right now," she urged.

"We will never be able to separate the two, although it may have happened to Junior, it didn’t just happen to Junior."
