Dallas, Texas, USASat Mar 22 2025
In a single day, a man managed to cause a lot of trouble in Dallas. Gregory Noble, a 55-year-old, was caught by Dallas police. He is accused of robbing a bank and stealing at least seven cars. This all happened on a Thursday, and it was a big deal.
Police had to work hard to catch him. They had help from other law enforcement agencies, including the FBI. Noble was booked into the Dallas County jail early on Friday. He is facing serious charges. These include aggravated robbery, robbery of a business, unauthorized use of a vehicle, and evading arrest. Other charges might come from the FBI and other agencies.
The trouble started when a car was reported stolen in the 14500 block of Dallas Parkway. Not long after, a bank was robbed nearby, in the 14800 block of Preston Road. Police think Noble did both crimes. He used the stolen car to get away from the bank.
After the bank robbery, Noble didn't stop. He drove to a business on Lemmon Avenue. He threatened employees and stole another car. Then, he tried to steal another vehicle at gunpoint, but he failed. Noble's actions were getting more dangerous.
Later, he went to a school on Webb Chapel Road. He demanded a ride and fired his gun into the air. He took another car and left. He kept moving, stealing cars and causing trouble. He ended up in Farmers Branch, then Coppell, and finally Irving. Each time, he stole another car.
Police had to work together to catch him. They used FLOCK cameras to track the stolen vehicles. Many police units responded to the different crime scenes. It was a big operation.
Noble has a history of crime. He was previously convicted for bank robbery. He was in Dallas County jail on Friday. It was not clear if he had a lawyer.
