A Family Fight at Universal Orlando Over Parking Tickets

At Universal Orlando, a family of four allegedly attacked a hotel employee over a parking validation issue. The incident happened at the Portofino Bay Hotel on January 19. The family had four parking tickets, but only two could be validated. The employee noticed one of the women trying to validate a ticket herself. The employee then asked the valet not to let the family leave. Things quickly turned ugly. Amanda Brito, one of the women, started yelling and hitting the employee's work tablet. She then punched the employee and pulled her hair. The other family members joined in, hitting and kicking the employee. The employee was knocked to the ground before other staff members broke up the fight.The family has a different version of events. They claim the employee threw the first punch after insulting Amanda Brito. They say Amanda was only acting in self-defense. However, the employee's supervisor saw the family hit the employee and knew they had come back multiple times to get parking validated. This incident is just one example of how things can escalate quickly in theme parks. People have been known to fight over small issues, like cutting in line or trying to skip the line. It's a reminder that even small problems can turn into big fights.
