Dallas City Hall Plaza has a chance to become something special. It could be a hub connecting Union Station and the Farmers Market. Imagine a green space stretching almost a mile, full of life and activity. People would definitely come. But first, the city needs to create something worth connecting to. Just adding a permitting center won't cut it.
Some folks think Democrats lack morality just because they don't believe in God. But atheists and agnostics can be just as compassionate and fair as anyone else. It's not about belief in a higher power; it's about how you treat others. And let's not forget, actions speak louder than words. Attending church on Sunday doesn't make you moral if you ignore those in need the rest of the week.
Churches have been mixing politics and faith, and many people aren't happy about it. Some churches openly support conservative politics, while others subtly push right-wing ideas from the pulpit. Is this really what people want from their place of worship? Maybe churches should focus more on fellowship and doing good works.
There's a growing divide in America. One side is all about personal freedoms and minding their own business. The other side is focused on social issues and government control. Which side are you on?
And let's not forget about voting rights. Shouldn't Texans have a say in who gets their voting records? It's a bit unsettling to think that information might be used to target certain voters.
It's great to see publications standing up for basic American values. The Constitution doesn't give anyone the right to murder citizens, no matter how you interpret it. We should all be proud of our country's strengths and moral center.
