A Look at the Leader's Health: Trump's Annual Check-Up Results
Washington D.C., USAMon Apr 14 2025
The recent health update of the U. S. President has sparked conversations. The White House physician, Sean Barbabella, shared some insights into the President's health. He highlighted the President's active lifestyle, mentioning his frequent golf wins as proof of his robust health. Barbabella's memo painted a picture of a man in excellent physical and mental shape. The memo was released on a Sunday. It detailed the President's health status, noting only a few minor issues.
The President's annual physical took place last Friday. After the check-up, he confidently spoke to reporters about his health. He mentioned acing a cognitive test, which he took during the physical. He also took a jab at former President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, noting that they had refused to take the same test. The President's score was a perfect 30 out of 30 on the Montreal Cognitive Assessment. He has taken this test four times, always scoring perfectly.
The President's height and weight were also noted. He stands at 75 inches tall and weighs 224 pounds. This is a significant weight loss from his first term, where he weighed 243 pounds. Despite this weight loss, he is still considered overweight, but not obese. His blood pressure was recorded at 128/74, which is elevated but not yet high. His resting heart rate was normal at 62 beats per minute.
The President is currently on two medications to manage his cholesterol levels. His total cholesterol level is at 140 mg/dl, which is considered optimal. The President's medical history includes well-controlled hypercholesterolemia, seasonal allergies, a history of COVID-19 infection, and a few other minor conditions. He has been managing rosacea, actinic keratosis, benign nevi, diverticulosis, and a benign colon polyp.
This is not the first time the President has shared his health reports with the public. Since his 2016 campaign, he has released several health reports. Barbabella was appointed as the President's physician earlier this year. He is a veteran of the war in Afghanistan and earned a Purple Heart after being injured by an improvised explosive device during his first tour.
