A 53-year-old man from Clinton Township is in serious trouble after a wild few days. He's accused of hurting a woman, breaking into her home, and leading police on a crazy chase. It all started on January 11, 2026, when he allegedly assaulted a woman and later broke into her house to hurt her again. Police were called, but he ran away. A few days later, on January 16, the woman said the man kept calling her and even drove over her lawn. Police found him near 10 Mile Road and Schoenherr. When they tried to stop him, he didn't listen. Instead, he sped away, leading police on a high-speed chase. They stopped chasing him near 9 Mile Road and I-94.
But the drama didn't end there. On January 18, police found him again near 11 Mile and Schoenherr. They tried to block his car, but he backed into a police car and sped off. An officer had to jump out of the way to avoid being hit. The chase continued through Warren and into Detroit. He drove the wrong way on Conner Avenue, then crashed into cars exiting I-94. Police found a lot of drugs in his car, including crack cocaine, meth, fentanyl, ecstasy, and more. They also found drugs at his home and a business called Cornerstone Brick in Fraser. He's facing many charges, including drug crimes, assault, and fleeing from police. He was arrested and given a high bond of $200, 000. If he gets out, he has to wear a GPS monitor, stay away from drugs and alcohol, and not contact the victim. The prosecutor said the man's actions were reckless and dangerous. He put the victim, police, and the public at risk. The man's next hearing is on February 3. More charges could be coming his way.
