Orlando, USAThu Oct 17 2024
Get ready for an adventure like no other! Universal Orlando Resort has announced that its newest theme park, Epic Universe, will open its gates on May 22, 2025. This massive addition will more than double the resort's size, making it the largest of the three theme parks. Spanning over 750 acres, Epic Universe will feature five immersive worlds filled with excitement. Imagine stepping into the magical world of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Ministry of Magic. You'll feel like you're in 1920s Paris or the 1990s British Ministry, facing off against Voldemort. Don't miss the "Battle at the Ministry" attraction, where you can join Harry, Ron, and Hermione in an epic fight against Death Eaters. Gamers will love Super Nintendo World, with attractions like "Bowser’s Challenge" and "Mine-Cart Madness with Donkey Kong. " For fans of How to Train Your Dragon, there’s a Viking village, a family roller coaster called "Hiccup’s Wing Gliders," a water ride, and a live show. Brace yourself for Dark Universe, a shadowy world where you’ll face monster revolts in "Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment. " Karen Irwin, president and COO of Universal Orlando Resort, is thrilled. She promises a week’s worth of thrills that will be nothing short of epic. Experts predict Epic Universe could attract over 6 million visitors in its first year. Tickets will be sold in phases. Initially, only vacation packages and three-day tickets (or longer) will be available, including one day at Epic Universe. Annual passholders get priority access to single-day tickets on October 24. A stunning 500-room Loews hotel, the Universal Helios Grand, will also open on May 22, offering guests a dedicated theme park entrance.
