Legoland Florida is getting ready to launch something big! After 15 years, they are finally adding a new rollercoaster to their park. This isn't just any ride—it's a space-themed adventure called the Galacticoaster. It will open its doors on February 27, 2026.
This ride is special because it's the first indoor coaster in the main park since it opened in 2011. The story starts before you even get on the ride. You'll enter a briefing room where Chief Engineer Biff Dipper will give you a mission: intercept a dangerous object in space. You can even customize your own Lego spacecraft. With over 625 different combinations, no two rides will be the same.
Once you're aboard, you'll blast off into a Lego Galaxy filled with special effects, lighting, and storytelling that's fun for all ages. The ride promises to be thrilling yet family-friendly. There's also an interactive queue, a space-themed shop, and a play area for the little ones.
This new ride is part of a bigger plan. Legoland parks in California are also getting new space-themed attractions. The company behind Legoland, Merlin Entertainments, is investing $90 million to upgrade their parks in Florida and California. They hope this new ride will bring excitement and joy to families.
