A New Wine Shop Opens in Marin County

A well-known wine business is making a move. Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant, which has been around for 53 years, is opening a new store in Marin County. This is their first new retail spot since they opened in Berkeley way back in 1972. The new shop is in the Marin Country Mart shopping center in Larkspur. It's smaller than the Berkeley store but still has a lot to offer. The goal is to create a friendly place where people can explore French and Italian wines. The president, Dixon Brooke, said they want to help clients enjoy the pleasures of wine and connect with their North Bay customers. The store will have a mix of affordable wines and rare collectibles. Members of their wine clubs can pick up their packages here or have them shipped home. The design of the new shop is meant to be both beautiful and practical, using materials like reclaimed limestone to bring a European feel. The store will be open Sunday through Friday from 10 a. m. to 6 p. m. and on Saturdays from 9 a. m. to 6 p. m. This new location is a big step for Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant, and it's exciting to see them expand.
