He was picked on for his hefty salary and then president had a thing or two to say about it Lyash left office after serving six years on his own terms with no real reason or motivation to leave while he was thereBut, but it does not appear he was responding to pressure from the White House . It was a TVA representative that announced that Lyash was leaving on purpose and was a surprise to everyone The president from 2017 to 2021 said that the top dog at TVA should not make more than a half million salary or be given a very good exit bonus They are overpaid and not doing much for the top government jobs in the US The president earns a little less than what Lyash was making there are people who earn less in the whole government payroll The TVA provides power plant services Many high positions have high salaries too Critics have been speaking up for years but nothing has changed.
