A Shake-Up in the C-Suite: Keurig Dr Pepper Welcomes New Finance Chief

Burlington, USAWed Nov 26 2025
Keurig Dr Pepper has a new top finance executive. Anthony DiSilvestro is stepping in as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He's coming from Mattel, where he was the CFO for five years. DiSilvestro will be based in Burlington and will report to CEO Tim Cofer. This change comes at an interesting time for Keurig Dr Pepper. The company is planning to buy JDE Peet’s, a big European coffee company. They also have a big plan to split their coffee and cold beverage businesses by 2026. Sudhanshu Priyadarshi, the previous CFO, was supposed to lead the global coffee company after the split, but that's not happening anymore. He will stay with the company as a strategic advisor until April 7. Tim Cofer is excited about DiSilvestro's experience. He worked at Campbell Soup Co. and Scott Paper Co. before Mattel. Cofer thinks DiSilvestro will be a great partner for the company's next big moves. Meanwhile, ByHeart infant formula is in hot water. Tests showed that some of their products might be contaminated with bacteria that can cause botulism. At least 31 babies in 15 states got sick after drinking ByHeart formula. The company said they can't rule out the risk that all their products might be contaminated. US consumers are feeling less confident about the economy. The Conference Board's consumer confidence index dropped to 88. 7 in November. This is the lowest it's been since April. People are worried about high costs and slow job growth. This could be a problem for President Trump and Republicans in Congress, especially since independents are feeling the most pessimistic. Campbell's Soup Company is investigating one of its executives. Martin Bally, the vice president of information technology, is on leave while they look into claims that he made racist comments and mocked the company's products and customers. Robert Garza, a former employee, filed a lawsuit against Bally and Campbell's. He said Bally made racist remarks about Indian workers and called Campbell's products "highly processed food for poor people. " Garza was fired on January 30. Campbell's said they don't tolerate that kind of language. On the tech front, X (formerly Twitter) has a new feature that shows where an account is based. This has raised some eyebrows. Many accounts that seem to be run by American Trump supporters are actually based in places like South Asia, Africa, and Eastern Europe. These accounts have thousands or even hundreds of thousands of followers. They post a lot about US politics, sometimes spreading misleading information. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent is looking for a new chair of the Federal Reserve. He said the Fed has become too complex. He's been interviewing candidates and will have his final interviews today. President Trump might announce his nomination before December 25. The finalists are Fed Governors Christopher Waller and Michelle Bowman, former governor Kevin Warsh, National Economic Council Director Kevin Hassett, and BlackRock Inc. executive Rick Rieder.
