A young woman recently claimed that hip-hop legends Jay-Z and Sean "Diddy" Combs sexually assaulted her at an after-party in 2000. But her story has some holes. Her lawyer is still looking into her claims, even though there are inconsistencies. For example, her dad doesn't remember the long drive home that night. Also, musicians Benji Madden and his brother were on tour, not at the party.
The woman first sued Diddy, saying he raped her. Then, she added Jay-Z to the lawsuit, claiming he was also there. Jay-Z said the lawyer just wants money and fame. His lawyer even asked the court to dismiss the case because it wasn't properly checked.
The woman admits she made some mistakes in her story, but she sticks to her claims. Diddy's lawyer said many people have made false claims against him. This is happening while Diddy is in jail, waiting for a trial on sex trafficking charges.
Jay-Z is also in a legal battle with the lawyer. He says the lawyer tried to blackmail him. The lawyer denies this, saying he just wanted a legal settlement.
Jay-Z and Diddy are both famous rappers who started in the 2000s. They've worked together and competed with each other in business. This case is part of a bigger wave of sexual assault lawsuits against Diddy.
