AI Voice Tricksters Steal Millions

Southern District of New York, USA; Spain; United Kingdom; UAESat Nov 07 2026

Three men used AI to sound like bosses and lawyers, pulling off a huge scam that took over $129 million from companies around the world.

They pretended to be CEOs or attorneys, called accounting staff, and asked them to move cash to fake lawyer accounts. The fake lawyers were part of the plan, and the money was sent to crypto wallets to hide where it came from.

One of the men, Jacob Soall, also known as Rocky Balboa and Seba Clarke, was caught in Spain in June. Sharon Hazan, who went by Superman Cash and other names, was arrested in Spain in August. Guy Sheetrit was taken in the United Kingdom in September.

All three face charges including wire fraud, identity theft and money laundering, each carrying up to 20 years in prison. The money came from a New York bank, a Missouri hospital, a Rhode Island bank, a California hospital, a UK fintech firm, a Massachusetts fund and a Florida pet food maker.
