The new version, called “Vikram Betal, ” will use artificial intelligence to bring the ancient folk tales to life. The original stories come from the “Baital Pachisi, ” a set of riddles told by Betal to the king, each ending with a moral lesson. The tales have been a staple of Indian culture for ages and were famously adapted in the 1985 TV series “Vikram Aur Betaal. ” That show was a hit across the globe and helped launch the creator’s later epic “Ramayana” series. More recent adaptations have appeared on Colors, Cartoon Network and AndTV.Historyverse will produce the new series through its own AI studio, Galleri5. The company says it wants to use cutting‑edge tech without losing the original story’s spirit and philosophy. Students in Birla Open Minds schools will receive special content and behind‑the‑scenes tours, turning the project into a learning experience about both heritage and modern technology.
