Travis Hunter, a standout college football player, is set to enter the NFL draft after his final game at the Alamo Bowl. Huntington will need a new jersey number for the Patriots, as Tom Brady's number 12 is retired there. Hunter is signing with Young Money APAA Sports, owned by artist Lil Wayne. This agency beat out several others to represent Hunter. Interestingly, they also represent Isaiah Bolden, Hunter's former Jackson State teammate who currently plays for the Patriots. This connection started when Lil Wayne appeared at Hunter's 2024 Heisman Trophy ceremony. Hunter won the Heisman Trophy and two other major awards for his outstanding college performance. During his acceptance speech, he thanked Lil Wayne, revealing that his fiancée introduced him to the rapper's music. Now, Hunter's journey to the NFL will be managed by Young Money APAA Sports for his on-field representation.
