Anne Hathaway made headlines recently after apologizing to a Norwegian journalist, Kjersti Flaa, for a less-than-smooth 2012 interview. The interview, part of the "Les Miserables" press tour, resurfaced online, showing Hathaway being somewhat short in her responses and declining Flaa's request to sing a question. Though Hathaway's co-stars, Hugh Jackman and Eddie Redmayne, agreed to the singing idea, Hathaway politely declined.
Flaa later shared that Hathaway reached out to her through her publicist, surprising her with an apology. Hathaway explained she was going through a tough time during the interview and expressed regret for her behavior. Flaa was touched by the gesture and shared that Hathaway had also invited her for a future interview in 2025.
This incident isn't the first time Flaa has resurfaced old interviews. Earlier this year, she shared an uncomfortable interview with Blake Lively, which went viral during Lively's press tour for "It Ends With Us. "
