Today, Apple rolled out an update for its experimental web browser, Safari Technology Preview. This browser, introduced back in 2016, is meant for testing new features that might be included in future versions of Safari. The latest release, version 205, brings fixes and enhancements for various web technologies like CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and more. This update is compatible with the newest macOS versions, Sonoma and Sequoia.
Users can get this update through the Software Update feature in System Preferences or System Settings. Apple aims to collect feedback from developers and regular users with this experimental browser. Interestingly, you don't need a developer account to download and use Safari Technology Preview. It can run alongside the regular Safari browser on your Mac.
Apple is always looking to improve its browser, and this update is a step in that direction. The release notes for this update can be found on the Safari Technology Preview website.
