Ariana Grande, a 31-year-old pop sensation, wowed audiences with her spot-on impressions of some of Hollywood's biggest stars while hosting "Saturday Night Live" recently. She kicked off the show with a lighthearted promise to keep things low-key, but her performance was anything but that. Grande showcased her vocal talents by mimicking Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus, and Gwen Stefani, nailing their signature songs. She even teamed up with her "Wicked" co-star, Bowen Yang, for a fun skit, and ended her opening act with a glittering troupe of dancers.
Things got even more entertaining when Grande joined Chloe Fineman in a sketch where they both transformed into Jennifer Coolidge lookalikes. Dressed in flashy pink outfits with big blonde wigs and bright lip gloss, they had the audience in stitches. The hilarity continued as Dana Carvey joined them, forming a trio of exaggerated Coolidge characters applying lip gloss to each other.
Grande didn't stop there. She also played Celine Dion in a sports promo sketch, singing a hilarious take on "It’s All Coming Back to Me Now" about brutal UCF fights. In another sketch, Grande and the SNL cast sang off-key spoofs of Sabrina Carpenter's "Espresso," creating a funny bachelorette trip theme.
This wasn't Grande's first time hosting SNL. She had previously taken the stage in 2016, right before the presidential election between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. This time around, she subtly referenced the upcoming election between Trump and Kamala Harris, hinting at her support for Harris.
