Barbra Streisand is not happy with the Meet The Parents movies. She played Ben Stiller's mom in two of them. But she says she was paid less than the guys. That's not cool. She told a magazine that she won't be in the next one unless they pay her a lot more.
She said that back in the day, women often got paid less than men. The boss at Universal even sent her a bonus check. That was nice, but it didn't make things right. Now, the other actors are coming back for the fourth movie. Ariana Grande is joining them. But Streisand won't be there. She has a point. It's about time women get paid the same as men.
The new movie comes out in 2026. Who knows what other fights might come out? But Streisand's fight for fair pay is totally justified. It's not just about her. It's about all women. They deserve to be paid the same as men for the same work.
