Bay City Athletes Shine in Recent Tournaments

Bay City's young wrestlers showed their strength and skill at the Reed City Invitational. The John Glenn girls wrestling team took home the team title. Every wrestler on the team scored points. They won by a huge margin of 30 points. Coach Chad Briggs praised the team's hard work and determination. He said they fought hard for every point. Vivian Arnold led the team with a championship performance. Gracie Fernette and Jayden Chandler were runners-up. Liya Bossbach, Addison Mahoney, and Gabriella Cross also earned top spots.Meanwhile, the Tri-Valley Thunder hockey team faced tough competition. They played against two strong teams in the Alpena Showcase. Despite their best efforts, they lost both games. Jake Rau scored two goals in the first game. Cam Mair and Byron Wilson also scored. The team showed great teamwork with multiple assists. In the second game, Becket Pruden and Max Miller scored. Rau and Miller had two assists each. Sports in Bay City are thriving.
