Bears Shake Up Coaching Staff with New Hires

According to recent reports, the Bears have signed Dennis Allen as their defensive coordinator and Declan Doyle as their offensive coordinator. Allen, who was previously fired as the Saints’ head coach in 2024, was a top candidate for the defensive role once Johnson joined the Bears. Doyle, who worked with Allen at the Saints, has recently been with the Denver team under Sean Payton. It's interesting to note that Johnson will still be calling the offensive plays despite Doyle's appointment. On the bright side, the team will keep special teams coordinator Richard Hightower, who has been with the Bears since 2022 and also worked with the 49ers before that. This staff shakeup could bring some fresh strategies to the Bears’ game.
