Boeing's Space Ambitions Could Boost Stock in 2025

Boeing is hoping to turn things around in 2025 with its space program. After a tough 2024, investors are curious about what the company has planned. Boeing's CEO, Kelly Ortberg, says the team is ready to perform better. One big factor could be the Vulcan rockets, which Amazon will use for space launches next year. Boeing is also waiting for approval to run national security missions for the U. S. government.
However, there have been some setbacks. A rocket booster fell off during an October launch, raising concerns about national security approval. Plus, Boeing's Starliner mission failed, and rival SpaceX had to rescue their crew. Boeing's defense-and-space head also left the company in September.
Even SpaceX's CEO, Elon Musk, weighed in on the situation. He said Boeing is doing better with the new CEO, compared to the previous one.
