Ever wondered how teachers can help kids talk more while they're trying to solve puzzles with a cool coding toy called Kubo? This study looked into exactly that! Nine kindergarten teachers and 36 kids were observed as they played and problem-solved with Kubo. After the first round, the teachers got together to chat about what helps kids communicate better. They came up with five key things: using different ways to communicate (like words, gestures, and pictures), planning ahead, giving enough time, using humor, and asking thoughtful questions. Then, they tried these tricks in another round of play. Guess what? The kids talked more and solved problems better! Teachers really can make a big difference in how kids learn and communicate. This study shows that teachers have some pretty awesome tools to help all kids get involved and think more deeply.
