Boosting Vietnamese Businesses: How Regulations, Innovation, and Resilience Shape Success

VietnamWed Dec 18 2024
In Vietnam, businesses face a unique set of challenges. This study takes a closer look at how environmental rules, innovative ideas, the ability to bounce back from setbacks (resilience), support for learning, and overall performance interact with each other. Interestingly, it's not just about following rules; it's about how companies can turn strict regulations into opportunities. The study found that while strict rules don't directly boost performance, they can do so indirectly by encouraging companies to innovate. This means that businesses that can adapt and learn quickly tend to do better. The research used data from 349 manufacturers in Vietnam and analyzed it using a method called partial least squares structural equation modeling. This method is great for understanding complex relationships. The results show that innovation and resilience are key to improving a company's performance. This is especially important for businesses trying to grow sustainably in uncertain times. The findings suggest that promoting innovation, resilience, and learning can help businesses tackle challenges in emerging economies.
