WEATHER
Boston Braces for a Sizzling Start to the Week
New England, USAMon Jul 07 2025
Boston and much of New England are in for a scorcher, with a heat advisory stretching into Monday evening. The humidity might be bearable today, but things will get sticky tomorrow and Tuesday, with dew points climbing into the low to mid-70s.
The mix of high heat and humidity will make it feel like it's near 100 degrees. That's the kind of heat that can lead to heat exhaustion if you're not careful. So, if you're out and about, take it easy and stay hydrated.
As for the weather, today is looking dry, but Monday and Tuesday could bring some storms. On Tuesday, the remnants of Tropical Storm Chantal might swing by the Cape and Islands, bringing heavy rain but not much else.
The rest of Tuesday should see partly sunny skies with the chance of afternoon storms. And while Wednesday looks to be cooler, with temperatures dropping out of the 80s, don't expect the rain to let up completely.
So, if you're enjoying the holiday weekend, make the most of it, but keep an eye on the weather.
