Did you know that simple bouncing on a trampoline can make a big difference? For females with extra weight, maintaining balance and sharp thinking can be tough. But a recent study showed that rebound exercise, like trampolining, can help improve both. This study was done at Evangel University in Nigeria. Researchers picked 20 female students, aged between 17 and 35, who were overweight or obese. For six weeks, they jumped on trampolines for 30 minutes, three times a week. Before and after these sessions, the students' cognitive skills and balance were tested using different tools.
Guess what? After six weeks, their thinking skills got better and better. Their balance, both when standing still and when moving, also improved over time. This shows that trampoline exercise can be a great way to tackle balance and thinking problems in females with extra weight. So, if you or someone you know is struggling with balance or cognitive issues due to weight, maybe it's time to give trampolining a try!
