Box Office Battle: 'Venom' vs 'Cesium Fallout'

"Last weekend, 'Venom: The Last Dance' topped the box office charts in mainland China for the second week in a row. It even beat out a new thriller called 'Cesium Fallout, ' which stars famous Hong Kong actor Andy Lau. 'Venom' made RMB104 million ($14. 6 million) over the weekend, bringing its total to RMB477 million ($67. 3 million) after 12 days. That's a bit slower than 'Alien: Romulus' did in China. Meanwhile, 'Cesium Fallout' started strong, earning RMB69 million ($9. 8 million) in its opening weekend. This film is special because it's China's first movie about a nuclear disaster.
