Celebrate Lunar New Year 2026 at Disney California Adventure: A Fun-Filled Guide

Disney California Adventure is all set to welcome the Lunar New Year 2026 with a vibrant celebration from January 23 to February 22, 2026. The festivities kick off early, with the actual new year beginning on February 17. This year, the park is honoring the Year of the Horse with a variety of activities, food, and entertainment spread across Performance Corridor and Paradise Gardens. One of the highlights of the celebration is Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession, which makes its way through Hollywood Land, Performance Corridor, and Paradise Gardens. The procession is scheduled at 12:45 p. m. , 2:30 p. m. , 5 p. m. , and 6:45 p. m. daily. Additionally, guests can enjoy Hurry Home, a pre-show performed before the World of Color Happiness! nighttime spectacular. This short performance begins at 8:54 p. m. and lasts about 6 minutes.Live musical performances are another major attraction, featuring groups like Fortunes, Jie Ma, Loc Hong, and Vocal Seoul, each representing different Asian cultures. Character meet and greets are also a big draw, with Horace Horsecollar, Goofy, Clarabelle, Donald, Daisy, Mickey, Minnie, Mulan, Mushu, and even Red Panda Mei making appearances in special outfits inspired by various cultures. Guests can participate in activities like writing their new year wishes on the Lunar New Year Wishing Wall or getting their wishes artistically written by Chinese calligraphy artists. The festival also offers a wide range of food and beverage options, with special menu items available at various dining locations. The Sip and Savor Pass, priced at $49 ($46 for Magic Key holders), includes six digital coupons for select food and non-alcoholic beverages. Merchandise is another exciting part of the celebration, with a collection that includes a Mickey plush, pins, ear headbands, Spirit Jerseys, and more.
