Celebrities and Ozempic: What's the Real Story?
USATue Oct 07 2025
Celebrities have been talking a lot about Ozempic lately. Some love it, some hate it, and some just want to set the record straight. Take Nick Carter, for example. Fans noticed he looked different and thought it might be because of Ozempic. But a source told Us Weekly that his weight loss was actually from dancing a lot for the Backstreet Boys' tour.
Lizzo, on the other hand, was open about trying Ozempic. She said it was part of her weight loss plan, along with diet and exercise. Not everyone had a good experience, though. Anna Delvey said Ozempic made her feel depressed, like it was "sucking the life" out of her.
Kathy Bates, however, had a different story. She said Ozempic helped her lose a lot of weight and keep it off. Andy Cohen also talked about using a similar drug, saying it was about more than just looking good—it was about feeling better overall.
Dolores Catania shared her journey too. After a heart procedure, she started using weight management drugs again. She said anxiety made it hard for her to control her eating.
All these stories show that celebrities, just like everyone else, have different experiences with weight loss and health. It's not always as simple as it seems.
