Celebrity Contest: Who Is the Least Smart?
Los Angeles, California, USA,Thu Jun 18 2026
Fox has launched a new game show that flips the idea of winning on its head. Instead of rewarding knowledge, it rewards the opposite: contestants try to avoid being the last one standing. The program starts on July 15 and features a mix of actors, musicians, athletes and former politicians. Among the participants are Hilaria Baldwin, Carmen Electra, Anthony Michael Hall, Jon Heder, Chase Hudson, Ice‑T and Elle King. Other guests include ex‑NFL star Matt Leinart, TV doctor Dr. Drew Pinsky, Jackass performer Steve‑O, pop singer JoJo Siwa and former presidential hopeful Andrew Yang.
The host is British comedian Jack Whitehall, who leads the group through a series of silly quizzes and physical challenges that mimic a chaotic school day. Contestants are tested on spelling, animal trivia, pop‑culture facts and other “summer school” style questions. Mistakes are encouraged because the goal is to avoid being declared the nation’s dumbest.
Each episode removes the contestant who performs best, leaving fewer people each week. The final round is a high‑stakes exam that decides who will receive the unwanted title. The show plays on the idea that being “smart” is a curse in this format, so celebrities must keep their brains turned off to win.
Fox’s new series joins a lineup that already includes the physically demanding “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. ” That show, which aired its fourth season last year, pushed celebrities through military‑style training. The new program takes a lighter approach but keeps the competitive spirit.
The series is scheduled to air Wednesdays at 9 p. m. ET, and viewers can expect a mix of laughs, embarrassment and unexpected moments as stars try to stay out of the spotlight.
