Charli XCX Praises Bratty Attitude in SNL Monologue
New York, USASun Nov 17 2024
Charli XCX used her SNL monologue to shout out Martha Stewart’s bratty behavior in her new Netflix documentary. She explained that being bratty is having a specific attitude or vibe. Stewart’s angry reaction to an old magazine article, where she wished the journalist was dead, was a prime example.
The singer also mentioned a journalist, Andrea Peyser, who wasn’t actually dead. Peyser had written negative things about Stewart during her insider trading trial. In response to Stewart’s comments, Peyser wrote a Post article saying, “I’m alive, bitch! ” and criticized Stewart for not caring about her family or employees.
Stewart even brought up Peyser’s article during a conference in Philadelphia, sarcastically calling the Post her favorite newspaper. She believed the feud would attract more viewers to her documentary.
