Manjrekar noted that star players such as Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni and Rishabh Pant bring a lot of attention to their teams. Their presence can boost the franchise’s identity and create excitement among supporters. He cautioned that while brand value is important, the primary goal of any team should be to win titles.
