Cleveland Clinic is making a comeback in Erie with a fresh physical therapy clinic. The new spot, Cleveland Clinic Rehabilitation and Sports Therapy, kicked off on January 20 at 3266 W. 26th St. This project is a team effort with Physicians Rehab Solutions, aiming to boost rehab services in the area. The clinic is the first of its kind under this partnership. Tom Pennington, CEO of Physicians Rehab Solutions, highlighted the collaboration's potential. He noted that combining Cleveland Clinic's expertise with their own long history of quality rehab services could greatly improve patient care and access to rehab.
This isn't Cleveland Clinic's first rodeo in Erie. They've had ties with local hospitals like Hamot Medical Center and Saint Vincent Hospital in the past. Now, they're focusing on outpatient rehab services with this new clinic. Gary Calabrese, Cleveland Clinic's senior director of rehabilitation and sports medicine, shared his excitement about the partnership. He pointed out that Physicians Rehab Solutions has a strong track record of managing and growing outpatient rehab clinics over the past 27 years. The new clinic is part of Cleveland Clinic's broader strategy to expand its reach and impact in the region. With this move, they're not just offering physical therapy but also aiming to set a higher standard for rehab services.
