Colorado Buffaloes Make a Bowl Game After Eight Years, Thanks to Coach Deion Sanders

You might think getting into a bowl game is easy in college football these days. Just win six out of twelve games, right? Well, Colorado hasn't managed that since 2016. When Deion Sanders started his first season in Boulder, things looked promising with a 3-0 start. But then came a harsh 1-8 conference record.
A close win against North Dakota State and a loss to Nebraska didn’t inspire much hope for this season either. However, something changed. The Buffaloes started winning, and they didn’t stop. They won five out of their next six games, including a big win against Cincinnati on Saturday night. Now, Colorado is 6-2 and officially bowl eligible.
And there are still four more games to go! They’re even in the running for a spot in the Big 12 Championship. While Deion Sanders’s early media handling was not ideal, his coaching skills have improved rapidly. The success on the field will undoubtedly make him appealing to higher-level programs.
