" He mentioned that Mike Vrabel, a Patriots Hall of Famer, might be interested in taking over the coaching role if Mayo were to leave.Curran said, "Vrabel would be up for coaching the Patriots. He sees the potential there, even with the challenges. " This is significant because Vrabel has a strong coaching background. He was previously the head coach of the Tennessee Titans until he was fired after the 2023 season. Now, he works as a senior consultant for the Cleveland Browns.
