The 59th CMA Awards kicked off with a bang, revealing some early winners before the main event. Post Malone and Blake Shelton's collaboration "Pour Me a Drink" snagged the Musical Event of the Year award, while Ella Langley and Riley Green's "You Look Like You Love Me" was crowned Music Video of the Year.
This year's awards show is packed with fierce competition. Ella Langley, Megan Moroney, and Lainey Wilson are tied at the top with six nominations each. The live broadcast from Nashville is set for Wednesday, Nov. 19, at 8 p. m. ET on ABC, with streaming available the next day on Hulu.
The night's big winners included Luke Combs, who took home Entertainer of the Year, and Lainey Wilson, who won Single of the Year for "4x4xU. " Megan Moroney's album "Am I Okay? " was named Album of the Year, and the songwriters behind "4x4xU" claimed Song of the Year.
In the vocal categories, Kelsea Ballerini and Luke Combs were recognized as Female and Male Vocalist of the Year, respectively. Lady A and Brooks & Dunn were honored as Vocal Group and Duo of the Year. The Musical Event of the Year award went to Post Malone and Blake Shelton's "Pour Me a Drink, " while Jenee Fleenor was named Musician of the Year for her fiddle skills.
The awards also shone a spotlight on rising stars, with Ella Langley winning New Artist of the Year. The ceremony celebrated both established and emerging talent, showcasing the diverse sounds of country music.
