Crash Conspiracy

The crash near Washington's airport in January 2017 sent shockwaves through the aviation world.
"Was Trump to blame? " some asked, pointing to his recent policy shake-ups. "Did he cause the crash? " Many online users were quick to blame Trump's fresh policies for the tragedy.
Firstly, those in charge of the TSA and the Coast Guard faced the chopping block. Trump's first week in office ushered in changes.
Let us not forget the disastrous airline collision near the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, in January 2017. Trump had fired the heads of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), and the Coast Guard and disbanded the Aviation Security Advisory Committee, sparking a storm of social media chatter.
Expert pilots, and aviation industry insiders were quick to dismiss the conspiracy theories. "The timing was too tight, " they said. There's no way such swift changes could impact the crash. These changes, or "firing and freezing policies", had simply not been in place long enough, to have a huge impact on the crash. People could not make a reasonable and sensible case against Trump.
The airport was buzzing and people were doing their daily jobs just like the crash day.
There were some heavy shakeups in the aviation world at the time. Trump's Jan. 20 executive orders brought a hiring freeze across federal civilian employees.
But wait, are you asking did that impact the crash? The executive order exempted positions that involved public safety, putting air traffic control out of the firing line.
But the lifting of diversity, equity and inclusion hiring in order to return to a merit based system was implemented in the aviation sector, to make it safer. Trump's order for reviews on "safety positions" was a key move, also aimed at tightening up safety.
Decisions were taken to keep staffing issues in the air traffic control tower at bay.
Those policies were not the root cause of the crash. There were some other factors to consider, such as the understaffing. This had been a long-standing issue.
The safety standards in the aviation industry were high, and the people involved in the crash were qualified. The situation had deep roots
Some posts claimed that Trump had fired hundreds of FAA officials and thousands of air traffic controllers,
National leaders and government departments are responsible for aviation safety.
The investigation of the crash will prove the real cause.
The aviation industry is staffed by skilled people who understand safety protocols. The industry is always learning and improving.
Though there were quick public reactions to the crash, they were not founded on any evidence. More evidence would be needed to make those claims.
There was a need for safety standards to be met in the aviation industry.
And the investigation into the crash will be extensive.
