Creative Engine Signs Big Deal With A24

The deal marks a new chapter for Drew Comins, who has built a reputation as a sharp producer behind hits like “Yellowjackets. ”Now his company, Creative Engine Entertainment, will work exclusively with A24 to create original series for streaming. The agreement covers multiple years and gives Creative Engine the freedom to develop projects that will carry Comins’ name as executive producer. Creative Engine’s team is already expanding. Brandon Finkelstein, a former CAA agent, joined last year as VP of Production and Development. Caroline Kitzmiller, who previously worked at Hartbeat, now leads Development. A24 expects more hires to support television and other divisions as the company grows. Before this partnership, Comins had a successful first‑look deal with Fifth Season. On the film side, Comins served as executive producer for the 2022 Amazon Prime movie “All the Old Knives, ” starring Chris Pine.
