Sky has secured the rights to Cary Joji Fukunaga’s upcoming crime drama “Blood on Snow, ” a story drawn from Jo Nesbø’s best‑selling novel. The film will debut as a Sky Original in the United Kingdom, with plans for a 2027 cinema release. The project brings together a star‑studded ensemble that includes Benedict Cumberbatch, Aaron Taylor‑Johnson, Eva Green, Emma Laird and Ben Mendelsohn. Their performances are expected to elevate the gritty tale of Oslo’s underworld. In the plot, Aaron Taylor‑Johnson plays Olav, a seasoned hitman who operates with precision and a surprisingly firm moral compass.
