Sai Pawar’s crime mystery “Bombay Noir” has snagged the support of Gene Klein, the producer behind “Suits L. A. ” Klein joins the project under his company P3 Media, teaming up with Adam Ciralsky. The ten-episode drama from 4 AM Film Studios follows an FBI agent, Vince Cunningham, as he investigates the murder of an American couple in Mumbai. What begins as a simple case turns into a complex web of international diplomacy, with the body count rising.
Omega Global Media, known for distributing English-language TV series globally, is handling sales for “Bombay Noir. ” They’re already seeing interest from networks worldwide. The company’s managing director, Danny Goldman, will be showcasing creative material during Content London to drum up more partnerships and financing.
Max Topplin and Maya Heble, heads of 4 AM Film Studios, are known for producing elevated genre content like CBC’s “Something Undone. ” Klein was drawn to the show’s gritty realism set in a distant but familiar Mumbai. P3 Media has been busy with the second season of Netflix’s “The Recruit” and is working on other projects like Hulu’s “The Envoy” and the feature doc “Take No Prisoners. ”
