Cyprus Joins NASA's Space Exploration Pact: A Promise for Safe Skies

Nicodemos Damianou, Cyprus' deputy minister of research, innovation, and digital policy, signed the accords in Nicosia. James O'Brien, from the U. S. State Department, was also there. The Artemis Accords are about ensuring space exploration is peaceful and responsible. They are based on a treaty from 1967 and are part of NASA's Artemis campaign to land diverse astronauts on the moon.NASA is happy with Cyprus' commitment. This news comes soon after many countries gathered to talk about the accords. It also comes just before Chile is set to sign up, making them the 47th country.
