Dancing With the Stars: A Night of Tears and Tributes
The Dancing With the Stars ballroom was filled with emotion during the latest episode, as each celebrity dancer paid tribute to someone special in their lives. This time, no one was sent home, so all 10 couples moved on to the next round.
Heartfelt Performances
- Andy Richter danced with his daughter, a moment that was both adorable and touching.
Robert Irwin delivered a standout performance, dedicating his dance to his mom, Terri Irwin. His routine to Phil Collins' "You'll Be In My Heart" brought the whole ballroom to tears. He scored his first three nines of the season, ending with a total of 35/40.
Danielle Fishel honored her former co-star, William Daniels, by dancing to the Boy Meets World theme song. Her performance earned her the first eight of the competition.
Whitney Leavitt had been on a hot streak, scoring the highest for four weeks in a row. But this week, Dylan Efron broke her streak by becoming the first celebrity to earn four nines from the judges. He danced to "Rewrite the Stars," a song by his brother Zac Efron and Zendaya, in honor of his little sister.
- Robert Irwin and Alix Earle were close behind Efron, both scoring 35/40 points.
- The lowest score of the night went to Andy Richter and Emma Slater with 24/40.
Normally, the couple with the lowest combined score from the judges and viewers is eliminated. But this week, everyone got to stay and dance another day.
