Delta's Next-Gen Inflight Fun
ATL, Atlanta, USAWed Jan 08 2025
You're 35, 000 feet up, and your seatback turns into a mini movie theater. Delta is upgrading its inflight entertainment with 4K HDR displays, making every show and movie look super sharp. But that's not all. The airline is also making it way easier to connect your own earbuds with Bluetooth pairing. No more pesky wires!
You know what else is cool? If you're a SkyMiles member, you'll get free access to YouTube Premium and YouTube Music during your flight. That's right, no more paying for Wi-Fi or downloading content before takeoff. Plus, there's a nifty recommendation engine that'll suggest stuff you actually want to watch.
Linking your Uber account to your SkyMiles account lets you earn miles for rides and deliveries. Score!
These upgrades will start rolling out on new planes in 2026, along with better streaming and network performance. But will Delta team up with advanced connectivity providers like Starlink? Only time will tell.
And guess what? They're also launching Delta Concierge, an AI tool in their app that'll give you real-time travel updates and answers to your questions. Talk about a smart travel buddy!
